Scrambling for Egg Cookbooks

I don’t know many people who don’t enjoy eating eggs. And for those of you that don’t enjoy them, well, we don’t need to talk to you, do we? (My sister actually hates eggs, but I still have to talk to her.) I never previously required a cookbook to make my favorite egg-based dishes. Variations on scrambled eggs, sunny-side up, and omelets have inspired some of my favorite mornings. Adding your favorite ingredients and enough butter to these recipes hardly ever ends badly, but now that I’m dabbling in more complicated recipes in non-breakfast aspects of cooking and actually trying to follow strict recipes, I’ve decided to look into some egg/breakfast-based cookbooks. So on days when I’m not too groggy and confused by what time it is, I’m making an effort to follow recipes of my favorite egg dishes.

I want to start an egg revolution – an eggolution, if you will. (Sorry.) So, I’ve rounded up a few egg cookbooks that I’ll be checking out soon. I think you should too.

These are just a few of the cookbooks I’m eyeing, but of course there are so many more to choose from. Either way, feel free to share any good egg/breakfast cookbooks you know of. I’m particularly excited to pick up Breakfast for Dinner. Oh! And be sure to tell me how you prepare your eggs. I’m egg-cited to hear all about it. (Oh come on, you knew that was coming.)
